Ccapacity development initiatives of the European Cultural Foundation in Ukraine started in 2007. This kick-started our long-term agenda of developing country-specific networks outside the EU to cross-fertilise cultural policies across wider Europe. The local partner - Centre for Cultural Management promotes the development of Lviv’s cultural sector in relation to the community’s needs. The Vision for the Center is as a catalytic agent – to encourage and support growth and development; to raise awareness among policy makers and the larger community of the role for and value of culture; and to act as a model for other initiatives around the country.
